Quartz Phase Change Sand:
Quartz phase change sand is also the roasted sand and is from raising the temperature of the baked sand to over 870°C. It is mainly used for super coated sand and investment castings. Now, the temperature of most baked sand is raised at around 600°C and the coefficient of the phase-change fails to reach the standard. In 2005, we independently researched and developed the Oriental I--a large blast furnace, introducing the technology from German and integrating the strength of heat energy, machinery, drying and forging industry. We make the gas as the fuel and adopt multi cycle combustion with double fire source, having a large output of 200,000t baked sand and 12,000t roasted sand. The roasting temperature can reach1250°C. The control of the temperature is strong and the heat is raised steadily, greatly reducing the coefficient of the phase-change of the sand, making the zero water content and zero traces and ignition. Our roasted sand has some characters that could not be achieved by the ordinary roasted sand, such as low expansion, high strength, low gas evolution and high temperature resistance, which are the most important factors for producing good castings. In addition, we greatly reduce the content of resin, the cost and the environmental pollution. Oriental I has many characters, such as high temperature resistance, high efficiency, high quality, energy conservation and environmental protection, and is the largest equipment specialized in producing roasted sand in China now. It is initiated in our silica sand industry. Our Liu Sha Sui Yue series products have become famous brands in this industry.
